Comparison

The similarities between these two roles are the fact that they both consume a lot of time. They both also require a lot of skill, the Editor needs to know a lot of things to be able to do their job and the Cinematographer is heavily relied on to know what they are doing as they take a lot of responsibility within their role. The Editor would have the majority of greater impact within the Production Process as if they don't complete their job fully, then there won't be a film at all. Therefore, the Editor has a greater importance over the Cinematographer.
